I swear this place is magical. If you have never visited Philippe Park, go now while the weather is perfect. It’s shady, breezy and hilly – definitely more of a northern Florida feel than what Tampa is used to. Add a few fabulous families and you get a fun batch of photos, all in time for the holiday card rush. Thanks to everyone who met up with me!

I am fascinated with old cemeteries and was surprised to hear about this one right in the middle of downtown Tampa. Oaklawn Cemetery is the city’s oldest.  I had a few minutes to myself here recently, and can’t wait to go back and really have a look. It reminded me of the creative writing class I took at FSU – we all walked to a nearby graveyard, picked a tombstone and wrote about that person’s life.

How cute is this little guy? SUPER-DUPER CUTE. But not so little. Funny story is we actually met about a month ago for this session, but it was raining, and it wouldn’t stop. Flash-forward a few weeks and the same jeans Mr. Handsome was wearing are now much, much shorter. He is growing, learning, rocking and rolling thanks to these two awesome Mamas. Go ahead, ask him about sharks. I guarantee he knows a lot more than you ;). Enjoy your preview! As always it was a great time.

I’m so happy to have met these wonderful families. It’s always a great time photographing good kids. Thanks for spending the time with me! I’m looking forward to a full morning of minis at Philippe Park in a few weeks. If you are interested in joining us, message me. Seems most people preferred the Pinellas session to UT this year, but I still have a spot or 2 left. Have a great weekend!
